AFFETTO PRESENTS:

“ROSES & THORNS FOR THE SOUL”

Affetto early music ensemble performs songs for English weddings by Handel, Clarke and Purcell, and cantatas for German meditations by Telemann and Keiser alongside Italian beauties by Caldara and Cima.

With their unique combination of trumpet or cornetto, cello or viols, and harpsichord or organ, Peter, Polly and Rachael will be joined by soprano Rowena Simpson for a concert at Ponsonby Baptist Church in Auckland, 7.30pm on 26 July.
